Each year First Grade holds a Winter Craft Souq.  It is a culmination of the On the Job economic unit.  Students work for several weeks to make crafts to sell at this special event.  Items such as  picture frames, reindeer necklaces, candle holders, gift wrap, salt dough ornaments and playdough are available for purchase. Ice lollies are always a big seller!  Students also brought in baked goods and popcorn to sell, as well.

The first grade classes took turns selling items to students and faculty.  They had to promote their wares, take money and make change.  Smiles were everywhere as the children enjoyed both the selling and the buying.

All proceeds will be used to purchase items for a local charity.
