On October 27, AIS-R celebrated UN Day.  It was  the culmination of a week of exciting activities across all divisions of the school.  You can see beautiful photos of the celebration on the front page of this website.

Grade 2 students celebrated by sharing lunch together.  Each child brought in food representative of their home country.  Previously, each child had made a poster about their home country and written and provided photos of special places, clothing, food and more.  The foods had already been talked about in class and the children were excitec to sample the foods from their friends.

It was a wonderful afternoon of sharing and coming together.
