In order to graduate from AIS-R, students must acquire a minimum of 12.5 service learning hours for each year they attend AIS-R (a minimum of 50 hours over four years of high school).  opportunities  for completed Service Learning hours on campus are frequently available throughout the school year.

Service Learning provides students with meaningful opportunities for character-building experiences beyond the classroom.  It is expected that these experiences will demand a personal commitment of time and effort to contribute to the quality of our school and local community.  Guidelines are available from the Service Learning Coordinator located in the Counseling Center.
