Our Middle School offers various opportunities for students in the performing arts.  All grade six students have the opportunity to learn an instrument through AIS-R Middle School's grade six music program.  We provide a complete Strings and Band program to all grade levels in the middle school.  Select students travel internationally to perform as part of our participation in musical conferences with other international schools.

Each student recorded their audition in October.  Recordings were sent to the AMIS headquarters in England to be evaluated by a panel of experts.  The auditions took place the week after our Virtual School.  Well over 200 students are competing to enter this band, comprising 70 of the best middle school musicians from around the world.
