Physical Education is an integral part of the total educational program of each student.  Through the medium of sport and movement all students will participate in a sequential, differentiated program that fosters each student's personal health, fitness and safety.  Through exposure to an wide variety of activities , students will gain the necessary knowledge to understand the importance of, and make educated decisions around opportunities to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Our department's objective is to commit to and support the development of a positive and appropriate values-driven education.  We believe true understanding in social skills include, but are not limited to, respect, cooperation, communication, teamwork and sportsmanship.  These are important aspects of the Physical Education curriculum and will be directly taught throughout the student's school career.

The PE department places a high priority on an individual's cardiovascular and muscular fitness, which teaches students how their fitness levels can affect their overall health and quality of life.  The PE department's goal is that all students exit our program with the tools to live a healthy, active and fun lifestyle.
