After School Learning Sessions

AIS-R’s After School Learning Sessions are developed and presented by administrators and teachers for teachers, using resources and widespread expertise gained over teaching careers and in courses, workshops and conferences.

As part of AIS-R’s Professional Learning Plan (PLP), a broad range of After School Training Sessions are offered in order to support our goal of continuing to build a strong Professional Learning Community.

AIS-R teachers are encouraged to work with learning cohorts in order to meet individual and/or team SMART Goals as part of their Individual Learning and Growth Plan.

During the 2011-2012 school year, a strong focus on professional learning will continue to be supported through Early Release Days, Professional Development Days and Learning Weeks.

All learning opportunities support targeted school-wide learning initiatives and divisional initiatives, as well as offer continuing support for the diverse learning SMART goals of our faculty.
