Application Fees:
1. If re-enrollment is within the same academic year, no assessments and no re-application required including application fee
2. If re-enrollment is not within the same academic year but still within 6 months, no assessment but re-application & fee required.
3. If it's not within the same academic year and not within 6 months, assessment, re-application and application fee required.

Seat Deposit Fee: This fee is required for all re-enrolling students for the first semester. Students who do not pay the seat deposit will not be guaranteed a seat. The seat deposit is not an additional fee as this amount will be credited towards the first semester tuition payment of the year.

Capital Fee: This fee is also required for all re-enrolling students. If a re-enrolling student paid the Capital Fee in the previous 36 months, he/she would pay the difference between the previous capital fee (in effect at the time of leaving AIS-R) and the current Capital Fee. If a student has been away from AIS-R for more than 36 months, he/she would pay the entire Capital Fee.

Registration Fee: This fee is also required for all re-enrolling students when more than 365 days have elapsed since the student’s withdrawal from AIS-R (i.e. when a student has not been enrolled at AIS-R for two or more consecutive semesters). Students who have only been away from AIS-R for one semester will be required to pay 50% (plus 15% VAT) of this fee.

Seat Deposit Fee:

A non-refundable advance deposit of SAR 12,450 (plus 15% VAT of SAR1,867.50 for non-Saudi Nationals and 0% VAT for Saudi Nationals if a National ID number is provided) must be made to secure a place for the student.

By paying the seat deposit/tuition, parents acknowledge and accept that in accordance with AIS-R Policy:

the seat deposit is refundable until April 27, 2025 and non-refundable thereafter;
tuition for semester one (due August 4th) is refundable, minus seat deposit (and VAT) until August 19, 2025 (first day of classes) and non-refundable thereafter; and
there will be no refunds, discounts or partial payment arrangements if the government orders schools to provide distance learning and/or any form of modified/hybrid programming during the school year.
Unclaimed guaranteed seats will revert to our Wait Pool applicants, and the student withdrawal process will begin on April 3, 2025.

Potential Additional Fees

Test Rescheduling Fee: Following the confirmation of a testing appointment, if the applicant neglects to inform the Admissions Office within two working days that they require rescheduling. Learning Strategies (LS) Fee: This fee is applicable to all students who receive additional services from a Learning Strategies teacher. Parents will be notified if these services will be required as a condition for their child’s admission. English Language Learners (ELL) Fee: A minimum level of English language proficiency may be required for enrollment. Testing and teacher recommendation determines student eligibility for ELL instruction. IB Diploma Programme Fees: Students enrolled in IB Diploma courses will be assessed a fee of 92 Euros (or SAR equivalent) per course. For example, a student completing the IB Diploma will be assessed 92 Euro for each of their six subjects (552 Euro or SAR equivalent). A student completing two IB Diploma courses will be assessed 185 Euro (or SAR equivalent) Non-Saudi students will also be assessed a 15% VAT on top of these fees.
6.Miscellaneous Fees :AIS-R has numerous enriching programs and services and many of these have additional costs associated with them for those who participate. Examples include, but are not limited to, Week Without Walls trips, sports trips, Wellness (PE) uniforms, IB exams, dining hall services, remote testing proctoring, yearbook, etc.

Tuition Payment Method

The enrollment of a student is a private contract between the student’s parents (or guardians) and the School, regardless of the arrangement between the parents and an employer. The parents remain ultimately responsible for the payment of all fees.
Tuition and fees are payable in Saudi Riyal (SAR) only.
Preferred method: Direct wire transfer to the school’s bank account.
AIS-R does not accept debit or credit card payments.

School fees do not include any bank processing fees. Any bank charges associated with this payment will be the payor's responsibility.
