Re-Enrolling Student Fees 

  1. Application Fees
    1. If re-enrollment is within the same academic year, no assessments and no re-application required including application fee 
    2. If re-enrollment is not within the same academic year but still within 6 months, no assessment but re-application & fee required.
    3. If it's not within the same academic year and not within 6 months,  assessment, re-application and application fee required.
  1. Seat Deposit Fee: This fee is required for all re-enrolling students for the first semester. Students who do not pay the seat deposit will not be guaranteed a seat. The seat deposit is not an additional fee as this amount will be credited towards the first semester tuition payment of the year. 

  1. Capital Fee: This fee is also required for all re-enrolling students. If a re-enrolling student paid the Capital Fee in the previous 36 months, he/she would pay the difference between the previous capital fee (in effect at the time of leaving AIS-R) and the current Capital Fee. If a student has been away from AIS-R for more than 36 months, he/she would pay the entire Capital Fee. 

  1. Registration Fee: This fee is also required for all re-enrolling students when more than 365 days have elapsed since the student’s withdrawal from AIS-R (i.e. when a student has not been enrolled at AIS-R for two or more consecutive semesters). Students who have only been away from AIS-R for one semester will be required to pay 50% (plus 15% VAT) of this fee.

Potential Additional Fees 

  1. Test Rescheduling Fee: Following the confirmation of a testing appointment, if the applicant neglects to inform the Admissions Office within two working days that they require rescheduling. The fee must be paid prior to the testing appointment being rescheduled.

  1. Miscellaneous Fees

AIS-R has numerous enriching programs and services and many of these have additional costs associated with them for those who participate. Examples include, but are not limited to, Week Without Walls trips, sports trips, Wellness (PE) uniforms, IB exams, dining hall services, remote testing proctoring, yearbook, etc.

Tuition Payment Method

The enrollment of a student is a private contract between the student’s parents (or guardians) and the School, regardless of the arrangement between the parents and an employer. The parents remain ultimately responsible for the payment of all fees.

Tuition and fees are payable in Saudi Riyal (SAR) only. Preferred method: Direct wire transfer to the school’s bank account. All sending and receiving bank charges will be borne by the sender. Please quote the student's name to enable us to trace the payment. Payments can also be made by check or cash. AIS-R does not accept debit or credit card payments.

Tuition Refunds

 Tuition is only refundable when all of the following apply:

  1. The parent provided written withdrawal notice to the school prior to the deadline date;
  2. The student did not attend school at any time during the semester; and,
  3. The student has already paid some or all of the tuition due for that semester
