HS Athletics and Activities

At the American International School - Riyadh, we believe in the development of each student through academic, athletic and artistic/cultural endeavors. AIS-R seeks to develop well-rounded, and healthy students who have strong social skills by offering a wide range of extra-curricular activities that support AIS-R’s academic program.

Participation in an extra-curricular activity promotes social growth and maturation of students, and fosters a sense of commitment to a cause or purpose. AIS-R’s extra-curricular program supports our mission of providing an exceptional college preparatory curriculum that leads to the development of responsible, productive and ethical global citizens.

AIS-R offers a wide variety of extra-curricular activities for students. Choices range from athletics such as volleyball, soccer, basketball and track & field, all the way to academic and social clubs, such as Model United Nations, National Honors Society, Student Council, Arabic and MU Alpha Theta, etc.
