Dining Halls
Kg2 - Gr. 5 Dining Hall
AIS-R Elementary School offers lunch service for Grades Kg2-5.
The school uses a cashless payment system for school lunch purchases. Parents or students add credit to their student account in the Finance Office. The balance for remaining credit can be checked online at any time. Parents are requested to ensure their children's balance remains sufficient at all times. Parents receive an automatic email when a student’s balance drops to 25 SAR. The ES Office will call home to inform the parents.
All children bring a healthy snack for snack break. All candy, soda, packaged chips (i.e. Cheetos, Doritos, Frito-Lays, etc.), commercially-packaged cookies (i.e. Oreos, etc.) and chocolate (i.e. candy bars, pudding) for snack and lunch are prohibited. As AIS-R Eagles and “models of healthy living,” we ask that only healthy options are packed for your child.
AIS-R is NOT a nut-free campus and cannot guarantee that food prepared by our Dining Hall nor food brought by students is allergen-free. Sharing of food is prohibited due to potential allergic responses.
Gr. 6 - 12 Dining Hall
Due to Covid restrictions from the Ministry of Education, the Dining Hall is not operational for the 2021-2022 school year. Students will have the option to order from a form in Skyward for three different vendors: Zaatarino; Subway; Paul. The orders are placed 24 hours in advance and delivered to advisories to avoid lineups or students grouping to collect their food. Parents and students may add money to their Skyward account in the Finance Office. Purchases are subtracted daily and recorded in each student's food services account, which may be checked online at any time.
When Operational, the 6-12 Dining Hall is open for service from 8:10am to 2:30pm. Hot meals, soups, salads, sandwiches, fruit and other healthy snacks are served each day. The Dining Hall also includes a juice bar, Subway and Zatarino (bread and pizza). Further, Seattle’s Best is located in the Eagle’s Nest Cafe by the main entrance to the campus and may also be used by students on designated days.
AIS-R uses a cashless payment system in their Dining Halls. Students pay for their items using their AIS-R ID card. The system works through Skyward. Parents and students may add money to their Skyward account in the Finance Office. Purchases are subtracted daily and recorded in each student's food services account, which may be checked online at any time. No purchases may be made without the AIS-R ID card.
