ES Dining Hall
AIS-R Elementary School offers a hot lunch dining hall service for Grades 1-5. All hot lunches include a main dish (vegetarian options available), fruit, vegetable, and juice.
Kg2 students eat lunch in the dining hall but must bring a packed lunch from home.
The Dining Hall uses a cashless payment system for hot lunch purchases. Students use an AIS-R ID Card to purchase meals. Parents or students add credit to their Dining Hall account in the Finance Office. The balance for remaining credit can be checked online at anytime. Parents are requested to ensure their children's balance remains sufficient at all times.
All children bring a healthy snack for snack break. All candy, soda, packaged chips (i.e. Cheetos, Doritos, Frito-Lays, etc.), commercially-packaged cookies (i.e. Oreos, etc.) and chocolate (i.e. candy bars, pudding) for snack/lunch are prohibited. As AIS-R Eagles and “models of healthy living,” we ask that only healthy options are packed for your child. With 60 nationalities and a transient community, AIS-R is NOT a nut-free campus and cannot guarantee that food prepared by our Dining Hall nor food brought by students is nut-free. Sharing of food is prohibited due to potential allergic responses. Any student who chooses to eat hot lunch and has exceeded a negative balance of 48 SR or more will eat lunch in the ES Office. The ES Office will call home to inform the parents. Student who exceeds a balance of -100 will no longer be eligible for our hot lunch services until funds have been paid in full.
