We want to give PE students opportunities to become confident and successful in their physical skills, explore a wide range of physical activities, discover fun and enjoyment, find their fitness, work cooperatively with others, persevere and learn positive habits they can use to create a life-long active and healthy lifestyle.
Our department's objective is to commit to and support the development of a positive and appropriate values-driven education. We believe true understanding in social skills include, but are not limited to, respect, cooperation, communication, teamwork and sportsmanship. These are important aspects of the Physical Education curriculum and will be directly taught throughout the student's school career.
The PE department places a high priority on an individual's cardiovascular and muscular fitness, which teaches students how their fitness levels can affect their overall health and quality of life. The PE department's goal is that all students exit our program with the tools to live a healthy, active and fun lifestyle.
